Sir Royston Hopkin, KCMG has had an extensive and distinguished career in the hospitality and tourism industry in Grenada and the Caribbean region, spanning over half a century. He served the Grenada Tourist Board for 18 consecutive years and was elected President of the Grenada Hotel Association on fourteen occasions.
Under his skillful stewardship he developed his resort from a 28 room hotel to the world class 64 suites luxury resort it is today. Knighted by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2004 Sir Royston is also the recipient of several prestigious awards including Grenada’s 2014 Most Outstanding Hotelier, the CHA’s 1991 Hotelier of the Year, the 2009 CHTA Lifetime Achievement Award and the CTO’s 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award. Sir Royston is the former Chairman of the CAST, he is a Past President and an Honorary Director of CHTA and is currently Grenada’s Honorary Ambassador for Tourism.
